Erika Bostick-Maddison started her career as a Professional Chef and Baker after attending The Art Institute of Houston over 20 years ago. Combining her love of fashion and interior design led to her passion for event planning and design. Erika began her business from her home doing small parties, showers, and church functions. She soon had no choice but to expand her growing business. Erika is enthusiastic about events and her attention to detail, personal service, and impeccable taste will truly make your event a once in a lifetime experience. Along with her staff of fabulous event coordinators, Erika will give you peace of mind that your “Big Day” is in very talented and capable hands. No problem is too big or small for her team to handle at a moment’s notice. E.Maddison Events prides itself on making our clients “Guests” at their own event.
Erika is a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) and is a Professional Bridal Consultant™. She is also married to her high school sweetheart and is the mother of three beautiful children.

Storytelling is my focus of every event along with the many other hats I wear as a creative. It is key to collaborate with you to ensure that your personality and story is reflected authentically throughout the details of your wedding or celebration. My passion for what I do empowers me to design and execute, with warmth and professionalism, beautiful storied events that are timeless, romantic, and meaningful.
My view on design is to allow each detail to stand exquisitely on its own but when combined with all other unique design elements, creates an environment of elegance and classic glamour. What’s my favorite thing as an event planner? To see the happiness and excitement on the faces of my clients once they see their event day vision come to life! It’s the icing on the cake for us…pun intended!
A great event tells a memorable story that invokes feelings of nostalgia and reverie. It begins from the moment the first save the date is received and does not end until the very last guest begins their journey back. Back to where they first received word of the incredible celebration they just experienced.

We limit our number of events each year, this ensures our clients receive personal attention as we guide them through the planning process.
All E.Maddison Events clients are given access to our event management tool, which includes event checklists, document sharing, calendar, budget template and message center. All clients will also receive an event design inspiration visual.
Every client receives a custom proposals to meet the needs of their specific event. Final pricing is determined by the services you are interested in, level of involvement you would like from our team, as well as the size and complexity of your event. Event planning and design with Erika starts at $1500.
